This is an index of software comparisons for people running a business on their own — what each tool costs, what its free tier withholds, what it charges to move money, and what happens to your data when you leave.
It is a reference, not a diary. Figures come from vendors’ published pricing and documentation, each entry carries the date it was last checked, and the compilation notes set out what that does and does not establish.

How this almanac is compiled
How prices are read
From the vendor’s public pricing page, on the date shown against each entry. Annual-billing discounts are listed separately and never blended into a monthly figure.
What “compared” means here
Feature against feature, read from each vendor’s own documentation and pricing pages. It does not mean the tool was run in production for any stated period.
What is missing
Screenshots from my own accounts, because I do not hold paid accounts on most of these products. Where that limits a verdict, the entry says so rather than filling the gap.
How this is paid for
Affiliate links, marked at the point of use. If you buy through one, this site earns a commission and you pay the same price. No vendor has paid for placement, ranking or wording, and none has seen a draft.
